Fused Glass Sheep Artwork - each individually named! The process starts off with me sieving on powdered glass to create the background colours onto a clear glass base (also cut by hand), that goes into the kiln to set as a first firing. This continues with me cutting out the shapes of the sheep in glass, painting on fine detail by hand using a needle point nib, and special liquid glass. Then lots of tiny granules of glass is applied called ‘Frit’, using tiny spoons (and a lot of patience!) to create the body of the sheep, which is then fused for a final time in the kiln.
Note: No two pieces will be exactly the same due to these being handmade, so background colours are likely to vary (but not the colours of the sheep, they will be the colours you have chosen) therefore they are all unique!
Size of frame: 4” x 4” (made of plastic and glass insert)
