Fused Glass Extra Large Sea Wave - This special piece is made by cutting a circular clear glass base by hand using a glass cutter tool, and glass saw. This is then added to, by carefully building up the wave with various shades of blue and green glass, also including clear and white, using tweezers (& a lot of patience!) which I have chopped beforehand with mosaic cutters, into small chunks. This is then carefully placed in the kiln to fuse the bottom glass and chopped up pieces of glass together.
Once out of the kiln, I then put this Artwork in a cast iron stand (that my supplier produces for me).
Size approx: Circular Glasswork 8” Cast iron base: 8” Fullest width of cast iron stand: 9” & whole piece (including stand) 12” tall
