Fused Glass Christmas Tree Hanger - each handmade, with lots of tiny granules of glass applied called ‘Frit’ using tiny spoons (and a lot of patience!) to create the shape of the tree and trunk, onto a clear glass base (that is also hand cut). Tiny pieces/squares of different coloured glass are then hand cut and fired separately at a very high temperature in the kiln to form tiny glass ‘baubles’ which are then placed on the tree, and then finally fused together for a last firing in the kiln.
Note: No two pieces will be exactly the same due to this process, and the colours of baubles will vary from one tree to the next; but this means that they are all unique, which is the beauty of handmade items.
