Fused Glass Coming Home/Nearly there Trees Artwork - the process starts off with me sieving on powdered glass to create the background colours onto a clear glass base (also cut by hand), that goes into the kiln to set as a first firing. This then continues with me painting on fine detail by hand using a needle point nib, and special liquid glass. Then lots of tiny granules of glass is applied called ‘Frit’, using tiny spoons (and a lot of patience!) to create the leaves, which is then fused for a final time in the kiln.
Note: No two pieces will be exactly the same due to these being handmade, colours can vary etc as they are all unique, made with love and attention.
