Fused Glass Clear LED Christmas Tree Decoration - I use chippings of clear glass to form a Christmas tree shape, which is made directly onto a kiln shelf, due to its delicate nature at this stage. This takes a lot of time and patience to layer carefully and to keep its shape. Once fired in the kiln decorative glass baubles (that I’ve pre fired in a kiln separately, by cutting small squares of coloured glass which then contracts into balls once fired at a high temperature) are added to decorate the tree and fired for a last time to fuse them together.
Afterwards the tree is then sunk and glued into it’s wooden base and then led lights wound around the tree.
NB: Each tree & it’s shape is unique, being handmade, and the colours of baubles will vary from one tree to another; I am always happy to show you a photo of the tree beforehand though, so feel free to contact me.
