Fused Glass Autumnal Lantern - handmade using various techniques; sieving on powdered glass, hand cutting panels of glass and initial shapes of the coloured and opaque glass pieces, using an electric glass saw for more intricate cutting. Painting fine detail onto the glass using a needle point nib, and special liquid glass. Granules of glass applied called ‘Frit’, using tiny spoons to create the body of the stag and leaves.
Note: No two pieces will be exactly the same due to these being handmade, so background colours are likely to vary making each lantern unique!
Lantern: 15cm by 28cm approx. Designed for a block candle (not included)
IMPORTANT: Use only 1 block candle with a max. height of 15cm and a max. diameter of 7cm. The lantern will get hot, place it on fireproof, heat-resistant material, a safe distance away from combustible materials. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Do not drop any objects, including matches, on the candle. Extinguish by snuffing out the flame.
