Fused Glass Kernow Dish - Each one handmade using strips of white glass that I hand cut to size, along with a square of black opal and clear glass. The black square of glass and a slightly bigger clear square of glass are fused together first in the kiln, then the white opal strips are then fixed on top and put in the kiln to melt into each other for a second firing. Lastly this is transferred onto a special shaped mould, and put in the kiln to slump into this mould which then transforms the flat glass into a small dish.
Note: No two dishes are the same due to these being handmade, and therefore are unique.
Size: When flat, was 9.5 cm by 9.5 cm, so just a bit shorter than this, due to the sides moving upwards to form the dish.
